Hey guys Ive done a bunch of research on free templates and theres quite a few options out there. We wanted to save money on our invites and stuff soo we bought $6 cardstock from Michael's and are printing them ourselves. I think they are turning out great (only save the dates are done). I definately suggest if you want to save money look at some templates. Weddingchicks.com is a good resource. And greetingsisland.com

Our wedding theme is under the stars and I found astronomy/galaxy stamps and I was SOOOO HAPPY WITH THEM!!!
Also this is a great idea to save costs!! I've worked at a few print shops and people did this all the time! Brought in Michaels stock and printed their own designs on them!

Yeah if you wanted something a little fancier without a watermark there are tons online for under $1 that you print yourself.

No we just bought plain ivory envelopes. But I work for the post office and have been collecting tons of different kinds of stamps. So everyone is going to get a different fun stamp on their envelope. From Star Trek to Sharks to Astronomy. Will post a photo of all of them when I'm home from work today.

That’s a brilliant way to save money! What kind of envelopes do you plan to use to send those out in? Are you going with standard white or have you decided to upgrade them?
