Food setup help

Hayle, on June 20, 2021 at 19:54 Posted in DIY 0 4

So we are booking an airbnb for a wedding with the entire bridal party and immediate family saying over. This is going to be the venue. We have all the vendors (pending hair and make up contracts) but everything major is taken care of. What are items we will need? (things for tables like salt and pepper).

Ideas for the morning of breakfast and how to set it up? We will be getting ready separately but in the same place. We are planning a costco trip night before, but thoughts?

We thinking we are forgetting things, but we just don't know. Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Perfect, we have a backup plan. please only comment with respect to the actual question in terms of providing assistance her getting ready ideas. the Airbnb has been booked every single weekend, so I highly doubt it'll be cancelled. We have also been told by the owner, that if they did cancel it, she would still allow the event to take place. I've booked 5 cottages with large occupancy numbers. Airbnb has said the number is 16 max for everything with respect to staying over and all of them were at 12-16 with no problems.

thanks for the concern, however, it is our problem if that happens. But Ontario will be in Stage 3 with no real restrictions well before the wedding happens unless we go into another lockdown.

It's not about the owner and how strict they are. AirBNB itself has been cracking down on bookings where there are a large number of guests in one space as part of their global event ban. This is regardless of whether the space is booked for basic overnight stay vs experiences, and owner's authorization is not a factor in the ban.

You might get lucky but AirBNB announced that their ban is lasting until at least the end of summer of 2021. I'm just saying this as a warning. Heed it or not under your discretion.

Hi, thanks for your input. Our Airbnb is not booked as an "event" however, the owner agreed to the terms of a wedding so it will not be cancelled by air BnB. She has told us there will be no cancellation, and we have stricter guidelines than the province has to host this wedding as per the request of the host.

But I do appreciate all the suggestions!

If you have a small fridge, I would create a cold bath for drinks so you can use the fridge space for food.

Make sure you have a bottle opener for corks in wine bottles + beer bottles.

Make sure you have writing utensils like pens/markers for signing the wedding certificate!

Btw, Airbnb have been cancelling all event-based bookings due to covid. You should watch out for that.
