Flowers

Allen, on February 3, 2019 at 19:37 Posted in DIY 0 14
Who has grown their own flowers? I have a green thumb and can grow just about anything, I'm starting to grow some baby's breath and Hopefully it will workout, baby's breath is fairly easy to grow and I thought it might be cheaper but also cook to say I grew them myself

I wish I could do this! I could grow you green onions and basil for an earthy bouquet, but not flowers hahah.

I started that but I may get into doing some greenery. Since it's like a weed and could grow quickly.

That is so cool! I thought about it but with my Baba's farm being located 4.5 hours away from the city and me not having a big enough backyard + a dog that digs... better not Smiley tongue

That is so cool! I didn't grow my own flowers per se, but I did tuck some roses I grew into my bouquet. They didn't really match but I loved having them with me, it was sentimental to me that they were from the garden of our first house together and something I worked hard on each summer to make pretty.

Are you sticking to baby's breath or thinking about growing some other types of flowers?

We are growing succulents for centerpieces and bouquets. The roses and babies breath im going to have to buy. If its not a dessert plant I don't know how to care for it.

Thank you! I figured if I could save money by mixing fake and real flowers it might be ok
