First look or first touch?

Joey, on July 27, 2019 at 14:05 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 13

Would you rather do a stress-relieving first look with your spouse before your ceremony?

Or would you prefer to save the big reveal moment until the ceremony and do a first touch?

We are doing a first look! It will help me out a lot before hand being able to see him

We are doing a first look. Our reception is right after our ceremony and we wanted to have majority of pictures done before that! This way we have a little moment together and I know it will get rid of any nerves!

We aren't doing a first look - we both want the first time he sees me to be at go-time. But I'm considering suggesting a first touch - I think that's really sweet.

Our photographer highly recommends a first look. Said that it will give us more time alone before the ceremony and more time with our guests during cocktail hour.

But we will probably still do it the traditional way lol . We love the surprise of walking down the aisle Smiley smile

We did a first touch! He was blindfolded so that the first time he seems me was me walking down the aisle!

We’re not doing either. I really want to wait until the aisle. We won’t be seeing each other the night before either. All a surprise!

We're not doing either. My FH's only "request" was to see the "whole package" when I walk down the aisle. I couldn't say no to that.

We will be doing a first look, it can start with him turned around and me touching his shoulder though?
Time wise waiting until the aisle doesn't make sense and we also only have one photographer so there wouldn't be a way to get both of our first reactions.

We’re not doing either. I’m not a fan of first looks, I’m more traditional. I brought up the idea of a first touch and my FH shot it down lol so neither!

We didn't do either since it was us knowing what each other was wearing and having him choose his outfit and I choosing his shoes and hat (pagri) to match his outfit. Same with the suit he wore for the reception.

We’re doing a first touch. I fell in love with photos I’ve seen of first touches and I really want to stick to the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony.

We're debating doing a first touch. We have enough time after ceremony that we can get our photos in so a first look isn't really necessary. However, it'd be nice to do a first touch before the ceremony.
