First Dance. Before or After dinner?

Awesome plan. I know that the usual protocol is to have the dance floor open after the first dance that the couple has. But with anything, these things get changed due to different situations.

I think we will be doing ours after, as I will be starving and just want to eat lol ... the fat in me is gonna need to be fed lol

Agree with you. After dinner. We are having a limited #of guest attend dinner and opening the invitation to public at 8pm do definitely want you gave everyone attend the dance... and still unsure about speeches! !!

I would say our first dance is going to be after dinner and speeches which will be the opening for people to dance of the dance floor.

We have planned it before dinner, we want everyone to relax and have fun, then we'll start the dances!

I have been going back and forth about this also! I think for us as we aren't having our photographer there for the entire reception it would make sense for us to do it before dinner and then we can do the father daughter dance and mother son dance after dinner

This is the question I am asking myself, is do I want to jump right into our first dance as soon as we make our enterance and are annouced before dinner or would we like to wait untill after dinner .... i honestly dont know ....
