Fireworks!

Joey, on July 4, 2018 at 08:05 Posted in Wedding reception 0 13

Will there be fireworks at your wedding? How about sparklers to brighten up your night? What about pyrotechnics for an extra snazzy statement? If you're incorporating fireworks at your wedding tell us how.

I wish but they are illegal to light within city limits. I wanted sparklers but the venue will not allow them, so I guess I am settling for glow sticks.

I really wanted to do sparklers at my wedding, but unfortunately it was not a question I asked up front and my venue does not allow them. Not the biggest issue in the world, but I was a little upset by it.

No fireworks! The insurance was just too much money! My fiance and I might run outside for a late night photo shoot with a couple sparklers but that'll be it!

It would be great, but I think in London you'd need a special permit to light them outside of a holiday (e.g. Victoria Day and Canada Day). Also our venue is off a busy artery street so would probably not be able to have them. Might do some sparklers though, even though we aren't doing a grand exit/send off.

Fireworks are actually banned in my city because of the amount of trees so definitely not. It’s a shame though, I do love fireworks!

I wish we could do this, but I don't believe its allowed... we are on a university campus. We definitely wouldn't have to worry about fire bans in January.
Not having a sendoff either, so no sparklers or anything

We didn't have fireworks as the grass was too dry and we didn't want to risk a fire. My husband would have loved it though!!!

Our venue doesn't allow fireworks cause there is no appropriate place to light them with all the trees everywhere so we aren't looking ar doing sparklers

If anything we may throw a few hundred dollars at it (if the venue is okay with fireworks - they are still in the beginning stages with weddings). It would all depend if there is a fire ban, but if not fireworks then maybe sparklers; it's an outdoor bonfire type of wedding after all.

    Not worth the extra cost.
