Finding the reception!

Hi!
My fiance and I are looking to get married in October 2020 in Montreal.
We will have between 275 and 300 people invited.
We were hoping to do something more rustic/romantic but reception halls are all glitz and glamour.

Were trying not to break the bank, as we just bought a house too.
Are there any hall or rental spaces that go with our theme and aren't crazy over budget that people have been to ?

    Here on Wedding wire there are a TON of venues that can hold that capacity for you in Montreal - but I'm not sure on the prices.

    When I was new to wedding wire I contacted over a dozen places and asked them for a base price and what that would include. I would start there and see what happens. Don't forget to ask if they have an off-season discount for October or if it would be cheaper to have a wedding on a Friday or Sunday (if you are okay with those dates).

    If you dont mind going off the island there are some beautiful cabane a sucre out near oarmstown you could look into. I would suggest the vielle brasserie but it only fits 100 people.

    Have you thought about wineries? If there are any in your area. I have seen some really nice rustic weddings done at wineries and pictures in the vineyards are just beautiful!

    Look into community halls! they’re often quite simple and you can decorate them as you wish
