Finding and staining wood

If you're worried about the lettering on wood you can probably get vinyl stickers made on Etsy or by someone with a cricut machine.


The staining and sanding wouldn't be too big a job, but the letters would stress me out!

I think it is a very good project to do yourself. Ease into DIY who knows where it'll take you. I would look in the marketplace and use wedding sites though. You may find it cheaper than you can make without the bother.

Check out Facebook groups, or Etsy.

There are a ton of people who do Wedding crafts and try to sell it there, so you may find some people selling wood.

I think this is a very simple diy to start with.

I'm planning on diy-ing signage like this myself, I'm going to check out getting wooden boards at my hardware store and staining them all to match
