AHHHH! Finally. We got our big day, after two years of engagement, and then a year postponement and then two weeks of anxious fourth wave anxiety wondering if our wedding would make it, the day finally came and it was everything we dreamed of. Everyone told me it was going to be such a blur - and man was that ever true. 10 days later and we are still digesting alot of it. It was so emotional and heart warming to be with our loved ones and gathered after so long apart. So incredible to finally get to see all of our hard work with planning details come to fruition!
It ended up FREAK blizarding so the afternoon on the day - and we had planned an outdoor ceremony oof. However our venue and our wedding party and my day of coordinator were the most amazing power team and managed to flip everything indoors and still make it so insanely beautiful all while I was in the bridal suite trying not to lose my mind and warm up after photos!!! Ha. Truly though, having the best team of people to rely on is what made the day so wonderful.
And having it inside while there was a blizzard adding such a cozy warm romantic glow to the whole event - I can't even be sad about it. Now we have been honeymooning in Hawaii for the last 10 days with 10 more to go and life feels so good! We throughly needed the time to unwind after all that intensity and Hawaii has been brilliant for it.
