Finally dyed some of my flowers

Rayanne, on June 29, 2020 at 23:10 Posted in DIY 0 12
I purchased a big box of sola wood flowers so I could do the flowers myself and possibly sell them once we are done. I have had them since December because I've found that starting is a little overwhelming. I'll be using the flowers for bouquets, corsages, boutineers, flower balls for centerpieces and for any other place I feel the need for flowers possibly an archway. If you haven't seen a post where I have shown what they look like before paintingFinally dyed some of my flowers 1
I'm thinking of using the carnation type for the flower balls. Finally dyed some of my flowers 2
These ones are more for bouquets, corsages and boutineers. The one flower is called Elizabeth which was my grandmas name and I want them in my bouquet because they do remind me of her.

I found some left over paint from my daughters bedroom and I figured I'd see what happensFinally dyed some of my flowers 3

Very nice Smiley smile We had some extra from the sola florist that my mom spray painted. I'm not sure if it affected the petal curl, but she said it was very easy to do, and it allowed for a two-toned effect.

(She sprayed the top flower completely burgundy, and the bottom flower pink on just the tips)

I dip dyed these ones. I have some roses I'll have to tackle with hand painting so the curl doesn't come out of the pedals.

These look great, Rayanne! Did you paint them with a brush or dip dye them?

I have only made this sign for the wedding!

Other than that we're keeping everything else to the professionals.

Thank you. I hit send to fast and lost half my post lol. Oh well, I love the colour I ended up with. I need to do red and I'll leave some of them the natural colour they come as.
