I need some help.
My dad listens to punk rock music so any traditional song you’d find on one of those lists won’t cut it for our dance. Does anyone have any suggestions?

No problem! In a similar boat, myself being a hardcore/metal kid and my FH being a metal/rap kid - doesnt make for the best wedding songs haha so I've been looking at all acoustic versions

Someone already said it, but my Dad's ringtone for me is "Sweet Child O Mine" by Guns N Roses ... so I'm heavily considering that for my father-daughter dance song. I'm thinking it would probably be a good choice for you as well - it's not a traditional/classic song, decent for your dad's taste in music, and still slow enough that I feel it would be acceptable to dance to.

What if you checked out the punk goes pop albums or punk goes acoustic? Could be some options there of "classic" songs covered by punk bands.
Also, have you asked your dad if there was any song he'd like to dance with you?? Maybe he knows of a ballad song you could dance too.
