I'm torn between My Girl by The Temptations and What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. Those are both top contendors that I know my dad will love for sure Smiley smile

We’re dancing to Dizzy Miss Lizzy, but the version John Lennon did with the Plastic Ono Band. It’s a little slower than the original.

That's so lovely! I love how 1 song can mean different things to different people. You guys look like a beautiful couple.

Hehe, this is our first dance song! My fiancé and I have battled his depression together, and finally have it under control - we picked it because those lyrics speak to us about our relationship.

I'm using "Kind and Generous" by Natalie Merchant. I had a few songs in mind, based on the lyrics and message they spoke for me. I really love this verse:

"You've been so kind and generous
I don't know how you keep on giving
For your kindness, I'm in debt to you
And I never could have come this far without you
    So for everything you've done
    You know I'm bound...
I'm bound to thank you for it."

Have I Told You Lately - Van Morrison

It can be taken as a tad romantic but for me, whenever I hear the words "fill my heart with gladness, take away my sadness, ease my troubles that's what you do" I think of my dad.

Hope you find a great one!

My mom had sent me a link to a list of songs and we went over some and although we haven't chosen one yet I really like:

    Little Girl - Christina Grimmie

I Loved Her First - Heartland

Daddy Dance With Me - Krystal Keith

Dance With My Daughter - Jason Blaine

My Little Girl - Tim McGraw

Although after seeing Stephanie's comment it makes me want to do something more fun Smiley tongue
