Father daughter dance

Cecilia and the satellite? It’s pretty unemotional and cheery. Only vaguely parental. It’s the song I wish my dad and I could do. But he’s pretty set on doing a disco dance number so we’re dancing to celebration.

I have been on the hunt as well as me and my family are super awkward when it comes to emotional things lol. That being said my dad cries when it comes to milestones in mine or my sister's life and I will defiantly cry at the drop of one of his tears at the wedding... So I don't want a super emotional song thats going to make us cry more then we need ! I came across one today called I'll be your man ( for a daughter) by Zac Brown band. And it's super happy and upbeat ! Maybe this would be a good option for you as well as it's still about father/daughter but with less emotion. Or atleast how i see it !
