  It would be a drive for you, but Tottenham has an old timey train station.

  Admission to get on the train, etc is only like $15/person too and im pretty sure the engine just sits there when not in use.

  Looks like there are some train tracks on the Michael Starr Trail near Front St & Fisher St. You could also try near Purple Woods Conservation Area or Glen Major Forest.
