Well, I am a 'worst case scenario' kinda bride. I always assume the worst - my photography was no different. We picked someone we loved the style of, we liked as a person, and have so far paid off over half our photography cost. We finally did our engagement session 10 days ago, and since then I have been in a 'OMG, what if I hate them?!" state of mind ALL 10 days while waiting for our proofs to come in.
Well, they came in today - still have to go through them all, but I can say my concerns have all been put to rest. Here's just a quick sampling of them - we still have to pick our favourite 24 for full editing.
We did our engagement pictures at Fort Edmonton Park in Edmonton - we did two outfits and two very different 'feeling' background spaces within the park. The weather was beautiful (though constantly changing from cloud cover to bright sun) and our photographer handled it wonderfully. We were even lucky enough to get to ride in a 1929 Rio, which isn't something you can book unless it's as part of a wedding, and then it's close to 1000$ to do - we were so lucky that the gentleman working at the car garage that day was in a good mood and liked how polite we were! What a treat!
