I just had to share some of these sneak peek pics we got from our engagement photoshoot this past weekend, because I am blown away by how beautiful and breath-taking they are! (Taken by Emerald & Fox Photo and located in Sunnidale Park in Barrie)
I was a bit worried because we had pre-booked this date and time for the end of September, but the leaves had still not totally changed, so I picked up some fall-coloured props to give the photos a more autumnal feel, which turned out to be a great decision! Fake flowers, picnic blanket, and fake leaves were from the dollar store, the corn, pumpkins and apples were from the grocery store, and the picnic basket was from Michael's (and we also included a candle from our apartment). You can't even really tell the props are fake from the photos.
I also found it really helpful to look up some engagement pictures for inspiration to decide what poses we wanted, and I'm glad we asked for specific shots because the ones we requested turned out to be some of our favourites! (e.g. lying down on the picnic blanket, him picking me up)
