End of evening cleanup

I just thought of this today, almost 3 weeks out; who/how did you have all items packed up at the end of the evening? Things such as gifts, the remaining wedding cake and any centerpieces.


How do people typically get these items out of the venue when everything needs to be gone at the end of the night?
My first thought is to have friends put them in a vehicle that is staying parked overnight and I can go back for them in the morning, but we don't have a lot of time to spare the next day.
Any ideas would be much appreciated! HELP!

    We have a coordinator to do that for us just because i don't want to be dealing with that noise day of. there will be enough going on and enough to worry about that i think a perosn hired for just this is essential.

    cards, gifts & guestbook+Cameras will be picked up by someone in the wedding party and stored with them until pick up the next day.

    We hired a day of coordinator to handle setup and take down to help relieve some stress. My future MIL handled her daughters wedding and it sounded like she didn’t get to enjoy herself so we decided just to spend the money and hire someone

    We actually decided to hire a day of coordinator because of this. We only have access to our venue the day of so I didn't want to wake up crazy early to decorate and then have to figure out who would clean up at 2am. So we have two people doing it all for us that will drop it off for us to take home the next morning. It's really taken the stress off knowing they'll be there!

    I would start packing up everything and putting them in a car earlier in the night once all the formalities are done.

    My father will be taking our car there because we are staying at the hotel that night and then leave for our honeymoon so we will want left over cake to come with us lol

    That's a great idea to have them maybe put the stuff in your car. Can always leave them a set of keys and definitely makes it easier to take home the next day!

    I was lucky my venue is packing it up for us, we just have to delegate it to a certain car, going to ask my STBIL to pack it in their car or even our car that way we don't have to chase anyone around the next day.

    My fiance and i are in the same boat we cant have a late night at our venue. I'm getting my parents and my fiance parents to pack everything up before we leave our venue at 1230am. And they're taking them back to their condo and we're picking everything up in the morning
