Hi!
My wedding is April 2023 in BC and I have been looking into sending out electronic save the dates. My only concern is I have a few relatives who are older and don't have email. Has anyone been able to get around this somehow or have any tips? Majority of my guest list would have no problems accessing an electronic save the date and I'd really like to be able to save some $$$ as I plan on doing printed/mailed invitations.
Also when is too early? I was thinking of sending out save the dates 12 months out (April of this year) for out of town guests - mainly my family from other provinces and countries and maybe for guests in town I'd send them out closer to the date like 6-8 months out.
To set myself up I started asking for some addresses (before I decided I'd like to go electronic with save the dates) and few relatives giggled and said I was ridiculous for thinking about gathering info/sending a save the date a year out from my wedding. Should I wait longer or should I just skip save the dates and send out my paper invites earlier? Maybe I am just overthinking this lol. Any advice is appreciated!! Thanks
