E-save the Dates

Abigail, on April 20, 2021 at 15:46 Posted in Before the wedding 1 6

Hey guys!

Wanting to get some suggestions on how to send out e-save the dates. I have a simple design for it, but I wanted to send it out to look nice and I wanted to use this chance for people to send us their mailing addresses as well for when we send out our formal invitation. I was going to use Paperless Post to send this out, but does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about this? What did you do?

We're doing electronic save the dates too. We will likely just send them as a JPEG via facebook messenger, email if we have it already, or even just text a photo to them. You could include a little blurb to contact you via your email address to provide their email/mailing address for your actual invitations. This is where a separate designated wedding email account would come in handy for sure, instead of your personal email getting all the responses.

You could always create a personal mailchimp account?

Like, just paste it on to the email body? I kinda wanted to avoid that and make it look more like e-newsletters like from brands to make it look more ~official~ lol.

We decided on e-STDs since we didn't want to spend extra on that one thing. If we weren't going to do that we were just gonna only send the formal invite itself.

For e-vites in the past I've gone on Vistaprint and made a design then I'll screenshot and send that.

Haven't decided yet if we're mailing SDs or just emailing people.
