Donations instead of wedding favors?

Hi there!

I'm a total newbie to wedding wire. Just got engaged 3 weeks ago!

Obviously still in the very early stages of planning, but I really like the idea of making a donation to a charity instead giving out wedding favors.

I'd love any thoughts on potential charitable organisations as well as how to word to my guests this choice.

    Hi there! Check Pinterest for wordings to guests, they have nice ones. We are donating to Sunnybrook hospital, as they are the trauma unit that helped my father when he was airlifted there . We may also make a donation to Sick Kids Hospital.

    Hey Kristin, welcome to the community!

    That's a lovely idea. There are some cute photos on Pinterest of people making little note cards explaining the donation organization and you can just leave them on the plates at all the seats. It looks very cute
