Why not just call it "Something Blue"? Haha like the tradition!

Cocktail drinks can be based on your favourite liquor and preference of colour to match your theme or style. Some drinks have been named after their pets or favourite things to do (sports, activities, hobbies, etc.)

Love tornado is something that can be in the form of 2 colours layered or something colourful.

A bar mixer may ask you questions that can help to come up with ideas of drinks and come up with names within the 2 of you to see what you like.

So we are having a "light" New Orleans themed wedding. Just a couple sprinkles of it here and there since that is where we got engaged. Thinking about having our signature drink be the Hurricane if we end up doing one. They were created there. It is basically a rum punch!

We are doing a blue raspberry mix with vodka and sparkling water! So it'll be blue!

We are debating on a name to keep with the theme... Blue Midnight is an idea right now!

I would for sure play into your wedding colours!

I would think that for your colour scheme you could get away with any signature drink that includes blue curacao Smiley smile Ivory would be hard to do unless it was a straight up shot of vodka with some coconut juice or something to make it opaque. As for a soft yellow, maybe something with pineapple juice?

Also, for names of the drinks - I will most likely just be calling them "The Tori" and "The Kael" or "Bride" and "Groom".

Is there a specific type of alcohol that you drink more than the rest?

For me - my go to is tequila or vodka. Then factor in the colours in your wedding. Mine is blue and purple.

I haven't decided anything yet because I'm so far away from my wedding, but I will be talking to my alcohol vendor to see what she would recommend. For now, I'm thinking a purple margarita, a purple people eater or a purple hooter shot.
