Do you get jealous?

Hi ladies,

Yesterday my FH was telling me a story about a project he's working on the other day with a new intern with who he spends a lot of time these days. I'm guessing she must be quite pretty and of course... younger and that's the type of thing that stresses me A LOT.

I know that he loves me, we're getting married and I'm probably worrying for nothing but I still can't get the image of her flirting with my fiancé off my head. I'm trying to see things with an open mind but it's still in the back of my head...

Does that happen to you? A little, a lot?

    I agree... When it can get really unhealthy. I used to get really jealous and I feel like it would really hurt my previous relationships. I also understood that with the right person those feelings seemed to go away. But yes, sometimes it can happen even now but he seems to understand better what affects me and we can talk about it.

    I agree that one can feel jealous at times, but I just wanna say that there are moments when it's just not healthy and can really cause damage to the relationship. Like when one person becomes super controlling. I know it might not be your case but think it's important to put it out there.

    I know what u mean when you get jealous its like all your insecurities come back to the surface... It happens with me too sometimes. I get insecure about the future, feels painful and then when I see her it all goes away.

    Hey Em! Yes, I think you're right but I don't like feeling like this. It's just not a nice feeling and if I talk to him about it I basically feel crazy for being jealous. I know he loves me and we're about to get married but I guess sometimes, I can't help but feeling insecure.

    I think getting jealous or insecure is a feeling we all get when we hear our SO is spending a lot of time with another person and always talking about them... especially if she's pretty! Smiley xd It's easy to start imagining so many stories. That's why I think it's always important to have a good communication.
