Everyone has their day and this was yours. Your friend shouldn't take your celebrations away from you. Her day is another celebration.

If the case where it has happened, my SIL and her sister celebrating together to save the cost. A reception and an engagement party.

No I don't think so- there are so many other days that you can make special, don't do it on the same day as your friends wedding.

It all depends who the person is and what the situation with the couple is. I personally wouldn't want it. Its my day.

My answer is no and I would be very upset if someone did this at my wedding.

At the ceremony? Hell no, that's about me and my husband joining our lives and I spent too much time on that ceremony to have it interrupted. At the reception though, hell yes! I'll get you a spot light, a microphone and hand my bouquet directly to her if you want. It's a celebration of love and sharing that would be so special.

At your wedding ceremony I would say no, that is a moment just for the bride and groom and their vows to each other. Reception is different for me tho. I stand strong as a no for ceremony though

I would say no to this. This is a special day for the bride and groom. The girlfriend should have her own special memory of the day he proposed.

Not acceptable in any way, shape, or form during any part of that day. My FH says that he would kick those people out.

Definitely not!!!!! Especially at the ceremony. That is the more intimate part of a wedding. I would be so angry!

I second Cynthia. I don't think it is acceptable at all.

Absolutely not. It's the one day that is truly YOUR day and people should respect that.
