Hi all! Was just wondering if anything could give me a rough estimate of how much I should expect to spend on a DJ? we’d need them for my ceremony & reception. If they MC that’s a bonus but not needed as I coold have a family member do that as well.

    Hi liberty, thank you! The price I saw was 2300 in the kawartha area (fenelon falls) so I guess that’s pretty high. Would you mind giving me his contact info if he does up North, 700-800 seems pretty reasonable Smiley smile

    In the GTA, they average between $1000-$5000 for both ceremony and reception. It depends on the DJ setup, if they need to travel between different venues for the ceremony vs reception, and how many add-ons you require like uplights, spot lights, extra mics, projector and screens, etc.

    My fiance and I are paying $875 for ours we get him for ceremony and reception total of 8 hrs and we're also get an MC through him as well with that price

    In my area DJs average $500-1000. Ours gave us his friends and family rate of $500. I belive his regular rate is $700-800. He's doing ceremony and reception.
