Woohoo, just booked the final "big" vendor on my list... After alot of research we were able to find a DJ just starting out and decided to give him a go... Since he has only been in the business a year he was willing to discount his services to half what other DJs in the area were quoting... I am beyond pleased since our original plan of having a friends friend do it fell through.

    I found a DJ who is willing to do our wedding for $225. How do I know if he's any good? Then again, it's just 3 hours of music so he can't mess it up to badly, right?

    Nice! ours is there from 5:30 till whenever the night is finished. usually 1-1:30AM.

    That sounds reasonable. Our DJ who will do MC stuff and the photo booth together are $1500 for 8 hours.

    Unfortunately no... We will not be back to NB until the wedding... Troy and I intend to put together a play/ DO NOT play list and he has a web site where our guests can request songs that will be linked to our website... Hopefully that will iron out any taste differences.

    Includes 4 lights on dance floor... Speakers and subs as well as uplighting on a wall... No fog machine... He will set up before supper and play background music during cocktails and dinner, then does the DJ ING from 8-12

    Very lucky !!! Does that include lighting and stuff?

    I forgot that our price includes LED lighting in the hall walls, spotlights, a hazer and fog machine.

    Dammmn, guess that is a benefit of getting married in NB... Even though there seems to be less choices everything seems cheaper than out west... Ours is $405 and includes MC duties.

    Me and FH booked ours a couple weeks ago. 1 MC and 1DJ costed us $2000 for the night. cash.
