diy Table Numbers

Brittany, on January 23, 2021 at 16:52 Posted in DIY 0 26
What’s everyone doing for their table numbers? Is anyone doing DIY? Also, is anyone doing something more unique and not just numbering the tables 1- whatever?

I love this idea! We ended up getting golden numbers in hexagons from a rental place near me for super cheap but I might consider adding pictures beside them🥰

I was thinking of having the number with a photo of the groom at my self at the same age as the table number. I think that would be cute lol

We are having a nautical/east coast theme (we met when we both lived in Halifax!) So I want to do monkey fist knot table number holders. I've seen tons of options on Etsy for it but haven't bought any yet. As for the actual numbers, I am somewhat handy at basic graphic "design" and downloaded a nautical themed graphics pack that I hope to make the number cards with.

We had pictures of us in different travel destinations we’d been and titled our seating chart “where in the world are our guests?” We wanted to do something a little different and didn’t want to do numbers just because we were worried about my family getting weird about a perceived “table rank”.

I am using vases with table numbers on them BUT I am asking each table to write advice for that table number for our anniversaries! 1st anniversary = table 1, etc etc!

I’m having recycled wine bottles on each table, I’m spray painting them rose gold and then adding a vinyl sticker to one on each table with the tables number! So it’ll look something like this picture. Doubles as part of the centre piece and table number.diy Table Numbers 1

My fiance and I found all these different kind of templates online and you can just print off right at home with numbers. I had used a thicker cardstock with a bit of a shimmer to it to make it a little more elegant.

I saw them on pinterest and found the snowglobe at dollar tree at Christmas. I also found little name cards that are acrylic ice cubes for my escort cards. Love them both. Little details no one else will remember but make me happy lol 😆

I'm so excited about my snowglobe table numbers. I bought little mirrors from the dollar store to go under them. Not the greatest picture but you get the idea.

    I DIYed by table numbers!
I bought 4x6 picture frames from dollar tree and only used the glass. On one side, painted the number diy Table Numbers 5

in calligraphy and painted the back with acrylic paint.
I bought a piece of wood and had my dad cut them into holders and cut a grove so the glass can sit into it. I will stain the wood a walnut shade (already have on hand from crafting)!

We thought about doing a gimmick for table numbers but the venue advised against it for the sake of their staff. Imagine a waiter who needs to look for "the frog table" instead of something direct like table #8 etc.

I don't want to kill your creativity with the table names but I wouldn't omit the numbers.

You can personalize table numbers on zazzle. You can get cheap holders for them pretty much anywhere.

We're doing table names as opposed to numbers. The names will be names of places that have meaning to FH and I. For example, the place where we had our first kiss, where he proposed, our favourite restaurant to go to together, etc. I'm printing them on cardstock and having a little blurb explaining why the name has meaning.
