diy Seating Charts

April, on February 26, 2018 at 23:02 Posted in DIY 0 13
Hey everyone, just looking for some easy DIY seating chart ideas. We’ll need it to be alphabetized vs by table numbers because we’ll have close to 30 tables. We’re not rustic at all and writing on a mirror scares me haha. Any pictures or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks 😊

I do like this idea, maybe reserve a few front row tables for parents and siblings too. We’re also doing evening ceremony and cocktail reception haha.

Lots of good ideas. We are having a total of 32 tables for guests and 250 guests we are planned to be seated. 280 people we have invited.

It does not get any easier than our seating chart 😂 But we aren't having much structure since our wedding is in the evenung, followed by a cocktail reception. I think for a large wedding, I do like the escort card idea, if you have 200 guests and they are distributed randomly, they can find their name easily if it is arranged alphabetically.

Writing the seating plan out on cards where a whole table is listed on each card will make it much easier on you guys. Then you could also just type them using a nice font and print them out on card stock.

Yeah, that’s a great idea. I’ll have to see if I can find a few of those frames. Thanks!

I like that idea but I feel like finding a name out of 200 people might be a little tricky. We’ll have to see if that works for us or not. Thanks!

You could also just do escort cards!! Way easier to DIY! Smiley tongue

I think the multi-picture frame style could work really well! Or even just printing and centering chunks of guests on pieces of paper you then arrange in a larger frame or mirror!

I found one of those multi-picture frames to use.. but my wedding is much smaller than yours. I like the printable pieces you can frame I think for a larger wedding.

I'm ordering mine design from Etsy and then getting it printed on foam board either at Staples or through Vistaprint depending on time. If you are savy on the computer, you can also use Microsoft Publisher, and skip the price of someone on Etsy doing the design portion for you. Here are some examples:

We'll be doing fairly cheap. We will be going to Micheal's to purchase the tri-fold and we will putting our seating chart on that. Either go Staples and have the "chart" printed out on thicker paper or just print it at home on our colored printer. Comes down to budget in the end haha
