diy Photobooth

Sarah, on October 8, 2018 at 14:34 Posted in DIY 0 1
Hello, my MOH suggested we use her camera and tripod to create our own diy photobooth in our reception. We would likely set up a table with props to use, and can email pictures to guests following the wedding. It may be helpful to note it is a small wedding with approx 60 guests. Do you think this idea could work, any tips?

It could totally work for that size of wedding! I have been playing around with this idea myself. One idea I read, which could be fun, is placing it somewhere near (but not in flow of traffic) the entrance as the guests come in as an ice breaker activity with a sign (I was thinking something like "Take a photo, have some fun, then take a seat when you are done!").

Just from my own photography and video hobbies, look at ways to light the place the photobooth is really well, especially if the rest of the room is dimmed or low lighting. It'll make the pictures come out better.

If you are e-mailing them to the guest, would it be worth having a paper there for them to jot down an e-mail or do you have majority of the e-mails already?
