View quoted message Mom and I are planning a trip to Maine to hit hobby lobby (Michaels greenery and flowers here have been disappointing me) and if that doesn't work I'll buy online. If we go in April I'll still have time to find supplies as our wedding isn't until October.
I'm excited for the road trip and the chance to have a whole day of wedding planning with my mom ❤️

That’s a great plan, I have a gazillion Pinterest boards saved up for ideas, it helped so much! I love your idea for the denim jackets, it’s cute and a great solution for staying warm and souvenir of the wedding! I definitely want something over my shoulders to keep me warn but I have no clue, the furs are a but overdone for me, and don’t like the idea of it with my converse too for some reason in my head it doesn’t sound like ME, the converse yes, but not so much the fur.. if you use Micheals for your supplies remember to get the coupon online! They give you another one when you buy something usually Igor the following week. That’s how I bought a lot of my flowers that weren’t on sale already. I would use a 40% off coupon on one get a coupon on my receipt, go in the next week to use it on another flower or supply I might need and so on. Micheals is expensive but they always have this coupon system.

Yes, they’re so fun definitely DIY your boutonnières, I had lots of fun with those. I used fake flowers so I could make them way ahead and so they don’t wilt in the winter air. ALSO because I wanted them to stay pretty forever, OH and the price tag definitely helps too lol

These all turned out so pretty!
My mom and I will be doing centerpieces and floral decor ourselves.
I've also fallen for the idea of a denim jacket with "wife of the party" or something on the back (I want a layer to keep warm for photos and this seemed great!)We have a few months before I'll buy supplies for the decor, so for now I just keep pinning on Pinterest and looking for deals!

View quoted message Sounds like you're on a roll though! Yes I'm wearing my converse the whole day, my dress looked awesome with them when I tested it at the fitting. Our ceremony and reception are in the same building so I won't need to go outside but they're a little better than heals outside even if I did need to step out for a couple pictures.

Are you wearing the Converse for your ceremony?? I bought a pair too, but I'm keeping them in the pale purple since that's one of my wedding coloursXD I've been trying to talk FH into wearing Converse in our second wedding colour, but he doesn't seem to be down lol.

The DIYs I've done so far are my invitations and everything that goes with that, my guest book, the favours, and our card box. I've also made the design for our table numbers, I just have to print them, same with the table chart, and the name place cards which I can't do until I have dinner selections from everyone since I have to print it on the back for the servers to know who gets what. I'll also be printing some signs that will be spread throughout the ceremony and reception spaces. I have a lot more projects than I thought I did
