Hi there Toronto area brides!

I will be having my wedding in September 2020 at the Chelsea Hotel and I'm looking for inspiration for DIY decorations for an outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception.

So many things!
You could do a petal/herb toss bar. The second image is a DIY wax paper backdrop that I am legit obsessed with and thinking of doing myself. And sparklers! It looks super cool in pictures at night and it would be fun for guests

That looks great!! For that kind of ceremony you could hang a whole bunch of pictures of the two of you on the trees for decor!
Obviously you wouldn't have to put so many on one tree as there are more than one at your venue.

We have been thinking navy blue suits for the groomsmen and mauve/purple for the bridesmaids.
I would love to have a mixture of modern and classical and hints of copper or rose gold.

I don't yet! We booked the Chelsea Hotel in Toronto and I took the quiz, I got "classic".
My engagement ring is a hexagon style so it's modern but has a classic taste to it. We would love to incorporate that in some way.

I like your leaf idea for reception seating, its creative. Ribbons with flowers or long stemmed flowers to give that elongated appeal of your colour choice.
