Did you include your kids in your engagement photos?

Nope, no kids yet! But even if one of us did I wouldn't have them in the engagement pictures - an engagement is between the two getting married. Cute, but I figure once the kids are in the pictures it turns into a family picture and doesn't fall under the category of engagement picture anymore. It would be a family picture that you had taken at your engagement shoot.

We don't have kids so we didn't include them but probably would have if we did.

We don't have kids, but we did include our puppy. We just did our shoot last night and I'm so excited to get them back! (It's gonna be a long 5-6 weeks haha)

We didn't include him in all of the photos, but I think it's nice to have a few "family" shots. I'd imagine that if you have children it would be nice to have them in at least a few. Definitely wouldn't recommend having them in every photo though. There should be some that are just you two and some that include the kid(s).

No kids for us, but I love when a couple does include their kids... a bit! I think it's really important to not have it turn into a family photo shoot... it's your engagement photos... even though your family is still important.

If you're blending families from past relationships, then it's nice way to commemorate that. If you have a child and are getting married after, then it's a few nice professional photos... but I see people have very few shots of just them as a couple, and that's kind of what it's all about.
