We are having a one tier cake for cake cutting and both regular and mini cupcakes for the guests. In addition we will have a sweet table with about 10 different kinds of sweets- mini donuts, artisan cookies, cake pops etc...

Our catering (hotel) is providing an assortment of cakes/squared for dessert. In addition, rather than an actual wedding cake we are having specialty cupcakes made by a local baker. The cupcakes are shaped like flowers and in our wedding colors. Have had our first tasting and they are AMAZING!

We have cheesecake for dessert, cupcakes and a candy bar for the favours. My kids are most excited for the candy bar when it comes to anything wedding related.

We are doing a plated dessert of an apple crumble and providing cupcakes because I really wanted to serve cupcakes. You can never have too much dessert served.

My Aunty offered to buy us a cake as a gift , her best friend has a caterer company, obviously we accepted this generous gift!
We have also chosen to do a gourmet chocolate brownie dessert with our caterer!
I’ll try to upload a photo of it! Then for our favours we are having boxes of Jacek chocolate! my uncle owns a store in Canmore and sells this chocolate for the lady who created the company. Again this was a gifted to us and we graciously accepted!
I does seem like lots of brides skip favours and skip the wedding cake nowadays and my family offered these gifts before we even had a chance to decide on what we wanted to do! We are just so grateful for our family’s contributions! And I think the guests will enjoy it! I know I will be stuffing my face lol

I joke to my fiancé how ill put a bucket of sour keys at the desert table, a bucket at our table and his BM's table because him and his BM can eat a WHOLE bucket in one go 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love that!! We are doing a sheet cake for everyone and a small wood birch style cake for the cake cutting... along with some treats like brownies, cookies etc!
We are also doing a candy bar because my Fiancé LOVES sour keys

We're just having our cake but our buffet dinner comes with mini chef desserts as well! So it's kinda best of both worlds really!!
