We only have our venue so far, but they cover catering and a lot of decor so it's a big chunk. Next we are hoping to book the officiant and a photographer. Finding invitations and stuff is super hard, though, as we aren't using blue and most winter wedding invites are blue. Haha.

I remember you saying in a different discussion you're not big on big wedding, so I tried to include more simple/DIY ideas. Cookie Bar for dessert, simple and unique... S'mores for favours, easy to make and goes with the season...

I suggest keeping bridesmaid dresses more neutral, with black, navy, or very dark colours, and probably long if you plan on taking any outdoor photos. My girls are in floor length navy dresses, with faux fur black wraps.

I also suggest sticking with one of 2 main colour palettes, either more 'winter wonderland' with whites, blues and silver, or more 'Christmas' with reds, golds and some greens. Mixing between to two too much may end up looking too busy.

Also, I got my bridal party flowers from Costco. We aren't doing any other flowers, since I find it a waste of money... They had one called the "Garden Collection" online, and I LOVE the blue thistles in it, but it's all peaches and apricot flowers. But turns out they can do it all in white... so my bouquet will look like this, but with all white flowers, white berries, and blue thistles (I will be posting photos when I get them, maybe something for you to consider, as they are very budget conscious and so easy to order... I paid, with tax, $425 for my bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 2 corsages and 11 boutonnieres, free shipping).

No, but if you want any advice/tips on holiday time weddings, feel free to reach out! Are you considering playing off the Christmas season? Going more glitz/night-life off of New Years? Or going in a completely different direction?
