Days Slipping Away

Ughhhh honestly I wish! We are 328 days away and I feel like it can't come soon enough! I do agree that wedding planning is very overwhelming and i'm glad our planning process so so close to being over!

I’m 236 days away and I find myself constantly thinking “am I missing things?” Because I’m not stressed at all. It’s so odd because I’m usually sooo detail obsessed and a perfectionist. I’m a designer so I was looking forward to choosing colours and designing things and putting everything together, and the list of things seems smaller than I had imagined. I find myself more focused on the people and the food and music than decor, and details, which has surprised me!

We are at 34 days, so I feel this. It feels like the weeks are going by super fast and the main thing that's stressing us out is the final payments being due to vendors soon.

I think three months out it when it started feeling like it was going by really fast, because that's when we had been out of the most recent lockdown for a month and we really started getting the final details together

It totally sucks! If we were getting married here in Edmonton, I'm pretty sure we'd already be married but getting married in BC has really made things difficult but of course we don't want to get married anywhere else! Plus I'm super excited to be heading home for our wedding!

The day I got the marriage certificate, which was a tad over one month out. Likely due to the postponement and uncertainty of how our wedding will look, we felt like we had all the time in the world. But as soon as I went into the government office and got the paper, things got real lol.

Oh I relate to this. I'm down to 149 days left I started at 785 went down to 100ish went back up to 465ish...it has been so long. And with a fourth wave being talked about I'm still no clearer in what is going to happen and what I need to be doing. I think I'll be taking full advantage of kids being in school to get things done.
