Day-of gifts!

I used this website to make gifts for My bridesmaids. I got our engagement photo printed on basswood blocks and will give them as gifts. (They are all made in BC and our photo is printed directly onto the wood block. They are stunning and unique! I was going to order some blocks with the table numbers on them as well.

Yes, for the officiant (my uncle), him and his partner will of course be at the reception as well so I was trying to think of something as our token of appreciation

Or personalized travel mugs or wine tumblers, a piece of jewelry, an experience gift (ie massage or spa gift card). Alternatively you could bankroll professional hair and/or makeup for your bridesmaids on your wedding day! That’s what I am doing; it will constitute my main gift to them.


An officiant gift is a little trickier. Ordinarily I would say a dinner invite for the officiant and their spouse would be a sufficient thank you. But if it’s your uncle marrying you I assume they would have received a reception invite regardless, and you’d like to do something extra?

What’s your rough budget for robes? I ordered robes for myself and bridesmaids from 431theweddingcompany.ca. I believe it’s a Canadian company and it came out to 180ish (four bridesmaids robes at 25 apiece, a bridal robe at 60, plus tax). I was really pleased with the quality. Etsy is another option. Good luck! 💕

Our families are staying at the cottage resort with us for the weekend, so we made baskets of snack food, wine, beer (and pocket packs of Kleenex...Ha!) to put in their cottages for their arrival.


I bought necklaces for my bridesmaids and also made them wraps (they chose the pattern, so they know it's coming) since it's a fall wedding. Not sure what the groomsmen will get at this point, but there's time to figure it out 😊
I will write a note for my FH to go with his fab wedding socks (also made by me)!

For my FH I am surprising him by wearing a green bay packers garter for his favourite football team, and surprising all the guys with green bay packer socks. He really wanted to include "the packers" in our day so this is how I'm going to do it.

For my girls I have NO idea what I am going to do for them yet, same with my parents and future in laws.

One other gift I need to consider is our officiant - who is my uncle. If anyone has suggestions on this I would love to hear them!

Yes!! I’m very excited to give day of gifts. I’m not sure what my FH is planning for his guys quite yet, maybe fancy socks or a flask? For my girls I gave them all wine glasses for their bridesmaid proposal that we’ll use the morning of, and I also plan on buying them a robe for the morning of as well! Still trying to find a website to order the robes from that won’t break the bank - suggestions are welcome! Going to get my dad and father in law personalized fancy socks, and my mom and mother in law jewelry with a message on the box!

My fiance and I are giving our bridal party and our parents a gift the morning of. They're all getting wine glasses and beer mugs with a saying on them to go with our winery venue theme

I got my maid of honor a wine tumbler and a personalized robe for the day of, and plan on getting my spouse something to wear the day of either a set of cufflinks or a personalized watch.

We're not giving these the day of, but we paid for the outfits of our parents.

We also pitched in for the wedding party's outfits as their gift. I bought the entire ensemble for the groomsmen including shirt, bow tie, cufflinks, pocket square, and cummerbund (basically minus tux jacket and pants). My fiancee bought dress belts and wraps/scarves for the ladies.
