Date Night!

Hello Ladies,

As I am sure everyone here can relate ... weddings take up a lot of your time and energy .... but we also need to make sure we are setting aside one on one personal time with our FH to keep the romance alive .... Am I Right Ladies !!!!

How do you and your partner like to spend date nights? Do you go heavy on the romance? A wild night on the town? Are you happier at home in sweat pants eating take out? Maybe a little Netflix and chill?

What is your favorite kind of date night?!

For my husband and I, we try and have a date night twice a month since both of our work schedules are crazy. We love going to concerts the most and if it's not a concert, we order from out favorite place The Canadian Brewhouse and watch a movie or some of our favorite tv shows that we need to catch up on at home! We recently saw Thomas Rhett last week for our valentine's date!

    We go to a certain sports bar for UFC fights with friends or just a dinner with the two of us- but with one rule-no phones allowed!!!

    We old so we like to do early dinner at a restaurant then order desert to go and go home watch a movie.

    Lately we will just order take out and watch a movie.

    We do like to visit smaller towns near the area and have lunch and do some shopping and to me that's our date, just us in our own little world.

    We aim for date night/day once a week. Depends on our mood but some of my favourite dates (or dates in my book anyway) that we've done have been :

    Getting an ice cream and going for a walk down by the beaches with our dog

    Getting Greek food and heading over to a vintage arcade bar by our place (has all the old school video game machines, pin ball machines, driving games, etc.) $5 all you can play!!

    Going for a drive in a small town for the day and checking out small shops and getting lunch (needs to be sunny and warm out though preferably for this one) and more of a day date.

    Honestly all simple and chill ideas but right up our alley Smiley heart

    My husband and I watch the reality tv shows as well! He always says he hates watching them but I know he secretly loves all of the drama that happens haha

    Usually Me and FH lounge around at home, in sweats, watching the reality TV shows he brought into this house with some 5 Guys Burgers. Pretty low key. Once a month we do try to go out for dinner/drinks - any place where Steak is on the menu for him Smiley sexy

    We like to stay in after the kids go to bed and play board games, video games or netflix and chill

    im super competitive so anytime we play games we always have a good laugh
