Hello fellow brides/grooms/person getting married

I am getting married on Aug 21st 2020 in an outdoor setting with 35 guests. Right now, it seems like dancing is not allowed in Quebec. I understand the rule as it would be high risk in an indoor setting, like in a bar, but I was hoping that us being outdoor, probably wearing masks, would help it make it possible. Unfortunately our venue's owner seems uncomfortable with the idea. What do you think? Should we forget dancing altogether?

Hey Catherine, as you get closer to your date there may be different restrictions, or more clarity on what the restrictions do and do not include. One idea is to have a look at any photos and videos of weddings that are taking place now at your venue and see whether there are any ways other couples are able to have dancing, or not. That might help you have a conversation with your venue about what is and is not allowed and how to keep them feeling safe.
