Dances

Stephanie, on August 12, 2022 at 13:59 Posted in Wedding reception 0 4
Has anyone done a father and brother dance? I wanted to include my older brother but is that strange? I was going to do a split between father and then soon to be father-in-law but unfortunately, my fiancés father passed away. Should I just have my moment with my dad?

I don't think it's strange it's your wedding I've seen it done before. I thought of doing a dance in honor of my mom but we aren't close so I scrapped that idea.

If you want to have both dances, go for it! It's your wedding day! Do what you want to do!

I honestly think this is the cutest idea ever, and I'm kinda mad at myself for not considering it Smiley tongue If you have a close relationship with your brother, and you're wanting to incorporate him somehow in the wedding, especially it being a special moment like this, I think it's such a heartfelt gesture and I'm sure it would mean a lot to him.

I haven't done it myself, however in my case, my dad has passed away, and I am super close with my big brother, so I will be dancing with him ❤️
