I love to bake, it's very calming for me. I also love hosting people. Suffice it to say I've cut and served a lot of cake and pie in my day. But on my wedding day, when it was time to "cut the cake," I was stumped. How do you do this in front of a crowd? How do two people cut one cake at the same time? Which part of the cake do you cut? What do you cut if there's dessert but no cake? What song do you cut the cake to? And are you bringing special cutting and serving utensils? How do you make sure you get the perfect pic of this moment? How do you feed it to each other?! Who knew a cake could be so complex!!
