Cupcake bouquets

A wedding I went to this summer used cupcakes as part of the wedding cake for guests to have after the supper (instead of cutting the wedding cake, they had cupcakes making up the bottom on a stand and the wedding cake top on top of the stand). I think this would be a neat idea to go with a wedding cake. It would be decoration and dessert all in one!

I agree Cheryl. I won't for the wedding but I am looking at having the bouquets for the bridal shower.

I agree Samtam, that's what I was thinking as well. I am going to find out if anyone in my city is able to create this type of bouquet.

Maybe not for a wedding because the frosting looks like it might be a little messy and I wonder if they would dry out if they were sitting out for a wedding. But I feel like they would be good for a bridal or baby shower! Those are shorter so they wouldn't be sitting out as as long and less formal so people might not be worried about it being messy.

That is so cute!!! I mean obviously not to actually use as a bouquet (I cringe at thinking about that blue icing hitting a wedding dress), but guests would be so surprised to see you eat one. They look almost real!
