Hi Everyone!
We recently made the decision to postpone our June 2020 wedding to April 2021. It was a very tough decision but now that we’re on the other side of things, there are a few silver linings I’ve noticed and wanted to share to spread some positivity at this time. I’ve seen other brides mention some bright sides to their new dates on other threads and I was hoping that we could collect these on one thread and brighten each others spirits. Our postponement positives are:
1 - since we have longer to save, I can redirect some of our wedding savings to pay off my student loans 6 month earlier than planned.2 - we originally wanted to have Anemones in our flower arrangements but that can be hit or miss at the end of June. Our flowers will definitely be available for our new date in April.
What are some positives that have come out of your postponements?
