Covid Headtable

Emilie, on July 23, 2020 at 09:42 Posted in Wedding reception 0 4
Hi everyone.

I was wondering what everyone is doing for head table with covid involved.
I'm having a hard time convincing some family that the head table should only be FH and I.

We were originally going to have our maid of honour and best man at our head table, but since that is mixing households we have decided to have a table with just us 2.

We are doing a sweet heart table with our bridal party still "close" but at two separate tables beside us.
I love the sweet hear table idea!

We are doing a sweetheart table. Bridal party (including us) is 12 people and caterers have to follow the max 6 at a table restriction for restaurants here in BC. Not exactly what I wanted cause now I can't pretend the attention isn't just on us but on the bright side since its a small wedding now our bridal party can sit with their significant others. Also, it would probably look pretty empty if a quarter of the guestlist was at one table anyways.

Maybe your family is just reacting to semantics. You can say there's no "head table," just a "sweetheart table" that's meant to highlight you two as a couple.
