Covering all necessary items for bridal shower

Ludvis, on April 30, 2018 at 12:22 Posted in Before the wedding 0 3

So this bridal shower coming up is really close and I feel like I'm forgetting items.

I always second guess if I have everything close to events and parties for some reason.

so far I have all the prizes (except the ones 2 others are bringing), lunch plates, dessert plates, cutlery, napkins, cups, coffee cups, coffee, kettle, tea (and all the milk cream or sugar), games, print outs for games, all of the signs and balloons or decor.....

anything I'm missing? I'm not in charge of food however, we have serving spoons and tongs for the meals, pop and water.

What an I do for favours for kids? I have favours for everyone else but they aren't meant for children.

Also, I'm running a bridal jeopardy game and I don't know what I can do for rules? I want everyone to be able to play i.e. one team selects question but any team can answer just so then the team who knows the bride the best won't sweep the game and make it boring. I want to put it on the board but not sure how to put it.

Have you thought of having music? A playlist might be nice to have in the background. Otherwise you sound really well organized!

ETA do you have a notepad to record what gifts the bride gets and who they are from? That can help her write her thank you notes later!

It sounds like you have everything under control!

I wouldn't worry about it being boring! People will mingle and enjoy the food and games there will be enough to do to get through the party!

For the kids I'd say maybe pop by the dollar store? Get some cute bags or baskets and fill them with a few toys or gifts (like a kids party bag) and I'm sure they will love it! Just make sure all gifts are even with the kids that's always an issue is someone gets more than another...

I went to a bridal shower that had a champagne bar which was wonderful! They ordered the champagne that she loved from her bachelorette trip to Kelowna and glasses. Thought that was a nice touch plus I think it was called “I Do”.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the children maybe some candy or bubbles?

I think what you’re wanting for the jeopardy game sounds good! I wouldn’t worry about it being boring but you could add in generic wedding themed questions so they’re not all about the bride if you’re worried about that. Do you have a bulletin board? You could tack the questions in different coloured papers to it. There’s so many visuals on Pinterest have you looked on there yet?
