Hello brides to be!

We we're supposed to get married on September 5th 2020 but decided to postpone to 2021 because of covid.
We decided to still get legally married at the courthouse. We live in Quebec, Canada. Does anyone know how that works?
Seems complicated.
Thabks for your help!!

Hi Patricia, I'm so sorry you are having to postpone your celebration, but I'm sure your courthouse elopement will be beautiful. Here is a guide on How to Get Married in Quebec including ways to have a civil ceremony.

Have you tried to get in touch with your local courthouse to get things scheduled? According to marienotaire.com, just "schedule a daytime appointment at the nearest Quebec courthouse, arrive with your betrothed and a couple of forms of identification, pay a filing fee, and stand before a judge to be pronounced spouses"
