Hi everyone! Congrats on your engagement! I got engaged on december 24 2019. We've been together since 2012 and we're really looking forward to our special day. Just checking in on how everyones planning is going and maybe we can share some ideas, maybe some experiences we've had along this journey so far.

    Thank you! We chose the wedding date based on a few things 1) we both live on farms, so october is a more relaxed month, and we also show cattle and the shows slow down then as well. 2) My fiancé hated the idea of a summer wedding 3) my parents wedding anniversary is october 17th and ours will be the 16th and they were touched with having the dates so close. Our wedding will be a simple rustic theme. Mainly white flowers, the venue is a music barn so that will be the main decoration in itself. I have all the big things planned and booked thank goodness!
