First, congratulations! Second, I started with guests. My fiancé and I aren’t fully set on a date or anything else yet because we kinda wanted to see how many people we would be inviting. We know that we want a fall wedding but date, location and everything else is going to depend on number of guests. We’re making a list of everyone we would potentially want to invite, going through numbers and then deciding on everything else after that. We want to spend our special day with as many loved ones as we can so once we have that figured out we’ll be able to decide if we’re renting a hall or just setting up a tent in a field 😂
I’m kinda focusing on the stuff I can plan for myself first. Dress,flower, decor inspos since my fiancé isn’t really into that kind of stuff and said “whatever you like / want”.

I’m also getting married the 14th of October next year 😊 we also have venue and photographer booked! I’ve planned out decor I want and started looking into options flowers and decor wise to keep things on the lower side as well!

One thing I have enjoyed about this site, is it is pretty good about giving you some guidance of when you need things done by. Just try and keep an eye on your "upcoming tasks" and check them off as they come up.

Really, since you have a year still, I think you have plenty of time, especially if you have vendor and photographer picked, as those can be a tough one to tie down.

I highly recommend joining some local wedding facebook groups, as I have found a few vendors that route as well. This one has been my fave:

Simply post what you are looking for with your date and your budget and the vendors available will reach out. I found it way easier than reaching out to vendors only to find they were already booked for my date,
