Hi all!!
My fiancé and I are getting married May 1st, 2021 in Edmonton. Honestly our original date was supposed to be ****, but we realized we can’t wait any longer and with all the restrictions it will allow us to have a small small wedding with only those who are most important to us, compared to over 100 guests like originally planned. It will also save us a lot of money so we can move out sooner too!

That sounds amazing, your wedding will be much more intimate by having it this year and can really focus on the two of you.
Great point on saving money as well, cutting it down to only the essential guests will allow you to put that money elsewhere.
