View quoted message Thanks for reaching out! I haven’t even mailed out real invites yet but our guests basically know since we cancelled our Jan 30th wedding in May of 2020 and changed our plans. So I haven’t officially stated 25 people yet.. I think my biggest concerns is vendors! We were going to get servers and bartenders and have a bus transport people since it’s way out in the middle of nowhere. I appreciate contracts and that deposits are non refundable but I am so scared to put money down only to be able to have immediate family. We also just want to go ahead and get married regardless of the suit I still. I suppose I just feel like I’m grieving the loss of another dream wedding. So my heart goes out to you! All I can think of is sit and wait and hope for improvement.

I am getting married this July (24th) as well, same idea we’re doing it on my parents property. Have you already cut your guest list to 25 or are you waiting until closer to see if there are any increases in guest numbers?
We will be going ahead with the wedding no matter what # we need to restrict too but are still holding out hope to have a little more than 25 people. I’m not sure how long to wait before reducing our numbers, such a hard time.

I am getting married July 9th, so not too far off. This is our postponement date. We opted to get married at my parents’ cottage which is classified as a private property public event. This puts us at a cap of 25, if the area makes it to a yellow or green zone. We invited 45 thinking we would be safe so we are devastated. I think we will go ahead with just family because we want our lives to move on!! I can’t help but feel so disappointed and anxious. So I feel ya girl! Let’s keep both our fingers crossed for better news ahead.
