Couples getting married on June 26, 2021 in Alberta

Kathy, on June 23, 2020 at 19:14 Posted in Alberta 0 1
Hey all!!

Due to this COVID... won't say what I really think...we pushed our wedding back to June 26 2021 fro August 22, 2020.

Everyone planning? I have everything in place! We are having an outdoor wedding at our Golf and RV park! They have lovely pavillion that we are going to use. We are going as cheap as possible!! As we are both currently unemployed (thank you prime minister).
We are having the food caterer by All Beef catering but no cake or drink beyond one per person.
Since our wedding will be 45 min out of town how much booze should we get? Everyone will have to head back to the city after...coca cola is a winner in our family so is it ok if I don't have Pepsi?
Questions....what about cake? I really don't want it sitting outside all night...what's an option you've looked into?

    Hello Kathy,

    Welcome to wedding wire!

Sorry to hear you had to postpone your wedding, it really has been a tough year for us brides.

What you have planned for next year sounds great! I love how relaxed and fun it sounds. I would think that Coke is fine instead of having both. As for other dessert options - I have seen lots of fun dessert table ideas with donuts, pies, or are you able to get a portable freezer and have ice cream?!

Check out the reception discussions for more information on finding out how much booze you need, there are a ton of prior discussions around that. Happy Planning!
