    Definitely start with what type of venue/theme you envision (Rustic barn? Upscale banquet? Casual restaurant?), and how large a guest list you anticipate.

    I suggest browsing Wedding Wire's venue category and favouriting everything and anything that stands out to you. You can always go back and remove favourited venues after, and then research and reach out to ones that really capture your eye.
